His pivotal role in developing the Kingston Transit High School Bus Pass program not only inspired the Get on the Bus movement but also highlighted his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to fostering positive change. Social Innovation
Dan is a passionate advocate for innovation across all sectors and possesses expertise in youth innovation. His role in designing, creating, and managing spaces like the Innovation Hub at St. Lawrence College underscores his commitment to fostering creativity and innovative thinking among students from different backgrounds. Dan's mentorship, project advisement, and engagement through lectures and workshops go beyond advocacy; they highlight his dedication to driving social innovation. With a Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability and a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management and experience in developing nationally recognised programs like the Kingston Transit High School Bus Pass Program, Dan's strategic insights enable clients to achieve long-term success.

Public Speaking
As a confident public speaker, Dan captures the audience's attention with his passion for social and environmental issues. He tailors his insights and diverse experiences to each event's specific needs. In the past, he participated in TEDx Ottawa, inspiring and empowering others to take action towards a better future. Dan is also a regular lecturer at Queen's University and St. Lawrence College and has spoken across the country on a variety of occasions including the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
Climate Action
Dan is dedicated to combating climate change by developing and implementing sustainable solutions. From his role as a Climate Action Coordinator at Loyalist Township to his contributions to developing Kingston's Climate Action Plan, Dan's commitment drives tangible results for the environment and the community. Dan has the ability to Research, plan, and help implement projects tied to climate action in the community.

Dan is an experienced facilitator and presenter, skilled in creating engaging environments for a variety of audiences, ensuring a unique learning experience for attendees that is informed by years of experience.
Throughout hundreds of presentations and speaking engagements during his work at the Limestone District School Board, the City of Kingston, and St Lawrence College, Dan has focused on topics surrounding sustainable development and social innovation. He has also facilitated sessions throughout the development of Kingston’s Integrated Community Sustainability Plan, Sustainable Kingston, and the Kingston Climate Action Plan. Dan was one of four selected out of 80 applicants to speak at TEDx Ottawa 2019 at the National Arts Centre, delivering a talk in front of an audience of 800 titled, “Throwing Our Car Culture Under the Bus”.
